Masquerada: Songs and Shadows - A Tactical RPG with a Venetian Twist

Masquerada: Songs and Shadows is a fully voiced, tactical RPG that takes place in the Venetian-inspired city of Citte della Ombre. In this city, power is everything and only the songs sung of one's deeds will carry their legacy beyond death. The Mascherines, masks that grant the power to cast destructive magic, have created an unequal society between the Masquerada and the impoverished Contadani. The game follows Cicero Gavar, a sleuth exiled from the city, as he investigates the mysterious kidnapping of a diplomat.

The game features tactical combat that can be controlled with a pause, allowing players to plan their party's attacks and position them strategically. Elemental magic tags can be laid upon enemies, and activated with another element to create crowd-controlling status effects. The game's art style is inspired by French comic artists, with stylized 3D characters and dreamy colors. The game also boasts a fully-voiced narrative, with 12 hours of dialogue from voice actors like Matthew Mercer and Jennifer Hale.

Overall, Masquerada: Songs and Shadows offers a unique and immersive experience, blending tactical combat with a richly detailed world and a compelling storyline.
